Mini Lava Rock (3-5mm)

Mini Lava Rock is is an inert rock that is a natural product, and primarily used as a substrate or as filter media.

Lava rock makes a perfect substrate for Sulawesi Shrimp tanks, as it is inert and doesnt impact the pH of your water. In addition, its surface area creates a large surface area for grazing, as well as for the growth of algae which is a vital element for Sulawesi shrimp.

In addition, this product can be used as a filtration media. We have in the past used lava rock in our undergravel filters as a layer of filtration.

Note: As the product is a natural product, it requires rinsing before use
