Dwarf shrimp in the aquarium eat mostly growth, just like in nature. Their claws are bristly and help them scrape tasty bacterial coverings, young algae and the like from stones, gravel and plant surfaces. Juvenile shrimp, in particular, are desperately dependent on growth if they are to grow to a healthy size. In a well-stocked aquarium, however, this growth becomes scarce quite quickly, especially if it is well filtered. For this reason we at NatureHolic have created our Shrimp Booster, a high quality, sensibly formulated and biologically valuable liquid food especially for nursery eating shrimp in freshwater aquariums, which after settling becomes a fine feeding film in the aquarium.

Baby shrimp in particular are very sedentary in the early days and don’t walk around much, so food should be available for them virtually everywhere in the aquarium. However, dust food is often almost too big for the midgets, and it sometimes doesn’t distribute very well. NatureHolic Shrimp Booster distributes extensively in the aquarium and sinks after addition. Thus a micro-fine food film forms on the surfaces in the aquarium – optimal especially for the very youngest offspring of the dwarf shrimps.

Please switch off the filter in your shrimp aquarium briefly so that the food film can settle undisturbed. Please do not forget to switch on the filter again!
