Double Sponge Filter

Sponge filters feature silent operation, and have an excellent filtering effect while oxygenating the water. The sponge material supports the colonization of bacteria, allowing for mechanical filtration in addition to biological filtration, which will break down harmful waste, ammonia and nitrite material, resulting in a cleaner living environment for your shrimp.

The large double sponge filter is perfect for filtering a medium to large shrimp tank. We use sponge filters together with canister filters in all of our breeding tanks.
