With the chloride-reduced NatureHolic Saltea Neocaridina, you can remineralize osmosis water, water from a deionizer, or activated carbon filtered rainwater, achieving optimal water parameters for Neocaridina shrimp and other ornamental shrimp from medium-hard to hard water.
NatureHolic Saltea Neocaridina is a fast-dissolving hardening salt specifically designed for aquariums with Neocaridina shrimp and other shrimp that require medium-hard water with some carbonate hardness. You can also keep fish in such an aquarium, provided the water parameters meet their requirements. This hardening salt is also optimal for your aquarium plants, as it provides a balanced calcium-magnesium ratio along with the essential plant nutrient potassium. Additionally, our formulation significantly reduces potentially plant-damaging chloride—NatureHolic Saltea Neocaridina contains up to 80% less chloride than comparable products. The essential filter bacteria also benefit from the minerals and trace elements in our mineral salt for Neocaridina aquariums.
Our Neocaridina salt enriches the aquarium water with all the essential minerals and trace elements needed by shrimp, plants, and filter bacteria. The chloride-reduced NatureHolic Saltea Neocaridina Hardening Salt increases both general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH) in the ideal ratio of 2 to 1 for Neocaridina.
With NatureHolic Saltea Neocaridina Mineral Mix, you create natural water conditions in your Neocaridina aquarium, promoting healthy plant growth and enhancing the well-being of your aquarium inhabitants. NatureHolic Saltea Neocaridina offers an ideal ratio of calcium, magnesium, and potassium for plant growth at 2:1:0.5. The significantly reduced chloride content of this hardening salt is also beneficial for aquarium plants.
Usage Instructions: Stir the chloride-reduced hardening salt into fresh water outside the aquarium. Add any undissolved particles to the aquarium. Make sure to reseal the container tightly after each use.
Dosage: 10 g per 100 liters increases carbonate hardness by 1.5 °dKH, general hardness by 3 °dGH, and conductivity by approximately 120 µS/cm. One level teaspoon equals approximately 5 g. Optimal target values for Neocaridina shrimp are: 4 °dKH, 8 °dGH, and 300 +/- 50 µS/cm.
