Shrimp Feeding Dishes are used to ensure that food doesn’t fall into the substrate where it can rot and result in a fluctuation in water parameters and quality. This is especially prevalent with fine shrimp foods. Using a feeding dish allows the food to be contained in a single area where all shrimp can feed, and the left over food can be easily removed.
Feeding dishes are used in all of our shrimp tanks, to ensure food does not fall into the substrate, where it has the ability to foul the water and affect the water quality. This is especially important for foods that break down on entering the water, such as the Shrimp Snack range, Mineral Junkies and White Pellet.
